Key Responsibilities as a DevOps Engineer in Cyprus
In a nutshell, your job as our DevOps |Engineer will be to assist in various IT-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
- Design, maintain, and improve automation scripts for system reliability and scalability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate new deployment processes and strategies.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into our development and deployment processes.
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure and support architectural decisions, focusing on scalability, availability, and security.
- Document and refine DevOps procedures, recommending improvements and innovations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Proficient with git and git workflows.
- Strong experience with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
