Key Responsibilities as a DevOps Engineer in Cyprus

In a nutshell, your job as our DevOps |Engineer will be to assist in various IT-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
  • Design, maintain, and improve automation scripts for system reliability and scalability.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate new deployment processes and strategies.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into our development and deployment processes.
  • Manage cloud-based infrastructure and support architectural decisions, focusing on scalability, availability, and security.
  • Document and refine DevOps procedures, recommending improvements and innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Proficient with git and git workflows.
  • Strong experience with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
